Al-Zaytoonah Private University of Jordan (henceforth, Al-Zaytoonah) was established in 1993 after receiving its license and general accreditation by Decision No. 848 on March 6, 1993. Instruction began on September 6, 1993, and since then Al-Zaytoonah has witnessed considerable progress, at both the infrastructure and academic levels. It now includes six faculties, encompassing 19 undergraduate specializations and one graduate program.

Ali Othman is currently serving as associate professor and chairman of the alternative energy technology department at the Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan. He obtained his MSc & PhD in Mechanical engineering from Slovakia University of Technology/Slovakia Czechoslovakia Federative Republic. He served as an organizing committee chair and member for many international and local conferences and workshops.
Dr. Ahmad Aboushi is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Al Zaytoonah University of Jordan. He obtained his MSc & PhD in Mechanical engineering from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University/Romania. His main research areas include thermal engineering science/Heat transfer, renewable energy, and Nanotechnology.
Dr. Malik Alamayreh is currently serving as an Assistant professor at the Alternative Energy Technology Department at the Alzytoonah University of Jordan. He received a Ph.D. degree from the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Bayern, Germany. His research interests include the applications of thermal fluids systems and alternative energy. He has a record of 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
