German Jordanian University

Dr. Safa’ Al-Shweihat is a faculty member at the German Jordanian University; holding a PhD Degree in “Philosophy in the Social and Cultural Origin of Education” with an Excellent Merit, year 2003. Her PhD Dissertation is titled “Citizenship and Civil Behavior;’ her Master’s Degree is in the “Origins of Mental and Philosophical Education” with an Excellent Merit, year 1999. She has the US Fellowship for Civil Education Leadership, year 2010. Dr. Safa’ has published many books including: “The Fundamentals of National Education,” “The Jordanian Citizenship,” “The Youth, between Nationalism and Citizenship,” “The Priorities of the Arab Youth Education. Dr. Safa’s has also published many studies in periodicals and scientific journals in which she aimed at studying the intellectual content and the bearings, values, and attitudes of university students in Jordan. She has also published scientific philosophical, educational, and intellectual articles about the development of educational institutions including planning, curriculum, educational content, as well as teaching methodology. Dr. Safa’ has 10 years of experience in university teaching. She also chaired the UNESCO Committee for Research Projects and Programs, 2011-2012. She was a Consultant for Social and Human Sciences Sector in the Higher Board for Science and Technology, assigned for planning the education of national behavior in Jordanian Schools and Universities in year 2008. Dr Safa’ was a member in the Upper National Committee in the Ministry of Higher Education for planning National Education teaching at Jordanian Universities. She was also the Director of the Department responsible for Woman Development Projects in Isra University, year 2005. Dr. Safa’ is a certified arbitrator for Citizenship studies. She has enrolled in many specialized training courses in National Education, Citizenship, Democracy, and Wise Leadership. She is a member in: The Administrative Commission in the Jordanian Association for Scientific Research, Arab Thought Forum, and the International Network for Innovation in Education (MENT). She has participated in many national and international conferences including: the International Conference for Criminal Justice – San Diego California, 2010; and recently in the Future of the Christian Component in the Arab World Conference in Como, Italy in 2015. She has been received as a guest on many Television programs on National and International TV channels and recently on OR Media Organization – London in October 2015. Research 1. 2016 Safa .N.
