COURSE Description

This is the second MOOC on Electric Circuits. The MOOC focused on powerful circuit analysis techniques using the theories of electrical networks, such as superposition theorem, and transforming the source and Thevenin's theorem and Norton's theorem. This course also provided an introduction to the elements of the circuit: Electrical condenser and inductor


The content of this course is complementary to Electric Circuits 1 MOOC

What You Will Learn

  • Using the theories of electrical networks in the simplification of complex circuits to other simpler, easier to handle.

  • Identify new elements for electrical circuits and power relations and effort and have utility in electrical circuits Statistics.


Ayman Faza

Dr. Ayman Faza holds a Master's degree and Doctorate from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in the United States, obtained in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He received a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Jordan in 2003. He currently works as an assistant professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at the Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Faris Attar

Received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power and Energy Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in 2017. He is highly interested in the fields of electrical circuits, renewable energy and power electronics. He is also a member in IEEE, AEE and held previously the Secretary position in AEE - PSUT in 2015/2016.
