This is the first in a series of courses on Electric Circuits, and is one of the fundamental courses for anyone who wishes to study electrical engineering. The content of this course focuses on the basic concepts in electricity such as electric charge, electric current, and voltage difference. In addition, it covers in depth the main components of a simple circuit, such as voltage sources, current sources, and resistors. This course will also introduce a number of circuits’ laws such as Ohm’s law, and Kirchhoff’s laws, in addition to a number of techniques for analyzing more complex circuits.
Dr. Ayman Faza holds a Master's degree and Doctorate from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in the United States, obtained in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He received a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Jordan in 2003. He currently works as an assistant professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at the Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
