Basics in Revit Design

This course is part of the Revit Design Software
Language Arabic
Start Date 15/01/2021
Duration 0 weeks
Effort 3 hours
Level Entry Level

In the early stages of design, basic concepts were created using the two-dimensional shape and designers had to draw a physical picture of their visualization in order to communicate their idea clearly to those interested. And designers used to spend a lot of time erasing, modifying and purifying their paintings and plans, while now and after this technological progress and the spread of design programs, they can accomplish much more than that compared to the past, so that design programs by computer for two-dimensional design were launched, such as the autocad program and others From the programs and after that, a 3D design program was developed, such as the Revit program, which we will deal with in the course. Autodesk Revit is a building information modeling program for architects, landscape engineers, structural engineers, electromechanical engineers (MEP), designers and contractors. . The original software was developed by Charles River Software, which was established in 1997, then renamed as Revit Technology Corporation in 2000, and which was purchased by Autodesk in 2002. The program allows users to design a building, structure and its three-dimensional components, add comments, and write dimensions and names on the building, its sectors and panels. It also allows access to building information from the model database stored on the project's server.

What You Will Learn

  • Learn about the user interface
  • Revit Basics: How to create a portfolio for your project, what are your different options and the best of them.
  • How to download the architect file for your project and files for other sections
  • How to create floor plans for your business and download the families you need in your business
  • How to modify the view template settings and build shortcuts for commands to speed up the way you work
  • How to create Worksets before starting your business
  • How to start designing the systems you want on the design of the existing architectural building (we will talk in particular about the low current system systems
  • How to create and print sheets

Syllabus

+
Unit 1: Understanding engineering design programs

This week, we will learn about the Revit program, which is a global engineering design program that has many features.

+
Unit 2: Fundamentals of Revit

In this unit, we will discuss the elements of the Revit program, how to download them, in addition to how Floor plans work and start the design process on them

+
Unit 3: Beginning Design Work

In this unit, we will learn many tools that can be used in the Revit program to determine element heights, how to make sections, and the most important differences between view plans.

+
Unit 4: the creation of schdeules

In this unit we will learn how to calculate quantities and find the number of different elements for which the design was made in my project file in an easy and fast way.

+
Unit 5: Designing and Printing Sheets

In this unit, we will learn how to make charts, create sheets, how to read different information on them, in addition to printing and extracting them in various formats.
